Mach Opr I, Label Mach - 2Nd Shift

Hourly Rate: $16.50 + $0.50 2nd shift premium

2nd Shift

Scheduled

• Tuesday thru Friday

• 3:34 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. (OT on Saturday based on needs of the business)

• Operate label machines to running the production line efficiently and maintaining a quality product.

• Manage all changeovers for label machines.

• Complete autonomous maintenance activities as it relates to labelers.

• Ensure quality standards are at all times.

• Work safely and carefully to ensure the wellbeing of everyone in the plant.

• Operate other production machines or complete additional line jobs as needed.

• Support production in the continuous operation plan.

• Communicate to operators on other shifts to ensure transition is smooth.

• Complete scrap report at the end of production run or prior to the end of shift.

• Dispose of defective cans at the end of run in the proper drums provided.

• Clear all components from the line prior to start-up of the next production run from the water bath to the case sealer.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs occasionally.

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR CERTIFICATION

• High School Diploma or GED.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision and the ability to focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Employee experiences constant interruptions and inflexible deadlines. The noise-level in this environment is quiet to moderate. Duties are performed indoors. No cell phones are allowed on the production floor.
