Currently, RG is looking to hire a Move, Add, and Chance (MAC) Telecom Engineer to support our Avaya customer with a government client.
A Day In the Life:
The Avaya MAC Engineer supports and maintains end-user installations, configurations and upgrades for Avaya solutions deployed into the customer space. Responsibilities may also include support and integration of Avaya Adjuncts, including Messaging, SIP solutions and Client Applications, as well as 3rd Party Products. Day-to-day activities are focused on moves, adds, and changes throughout customer's "Enterprise" VoIP solution from a central location. The successful candidate must be able to:
Work with limited guidance on projects within defined scope
Provide solutions to a diverse range of requirements and functional challenges
Learn and increase their skills and knowledge on a continuing basis
Display ability and willingness to demonstrate Avaya voice communications solutions to the customer and internal team
Work flexible hours when required
A Consultant is an exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of information directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG's solutions. They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value team work, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills.
To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.
One of the following education/experience combinations:
BA/BS and 5+ years' experience in the Communications or IT industry, specific to technical support, helpdesk or telephone solution positions
9+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree
Analog, Digital, IP and SIP telephony experience working with Avaya systems
Ability to read, understand and communicate technical document content
Active TS security clearance

Demonstrated, hands-on experience deploying and maintaining Avaya Aura solution comprised of Communications Manager (CM), Session Manager (SM), Session Manager (SysM), and Avaya Aura Messaging (AAM)
Experience with SIP UC/CC architectures and deployments
Product or industry certifications, such as Avaya, VMware, Linux and AWS
