Summary:

As a member of our IT team, you will focus on solving organizational problems by analyzing processes, workflows, and systems with the objective of identifying opportunities for either improvement or automation. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with management to determine IT objectives that will improve business outcomes

  • Leverage knowledge of cutting-edge technologies to optimize organizational efficiency

  • Review existing IT systems and internal processes; collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within IT infrastructures

  • Participate in team meetings; provide input on intelligent solutions to improve efficiency

  • Utilize modeling, information engineering, and cost-based accounting processes to design new systems

  • Develop, test, and implement IT systems to further business objectives

  • Oversee implementation process; manage programmers and vendors to stay within deadlines and budget

  • Troubleshoot and debug IT systems to ensure error-free functionality and end-user satisfaction

  • Provide supervision to help desk staff during transitional processes; provide technical support via telephone and email for internal end users

  • Manage multiple tasks to deadlines; communicate progress at regular intervals

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • High School Diploma / GED required

  • 4 years of related experience

  • Experience supporting the development of accreditation packages through the RMF process.

  • CompTia Security or Government approved equivalent.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

  • Familiar with SPL, Python, JavaScript or similar programming and scripting languages

  • Experience with Kubernetes/Docker

  • Experience with Linux/UNIX, Windows Server, Scripting (Python, BASH, Powershell), Jenkins, Git, Orchestration and Containerization, JIRA, ServiceNow and Azure

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to facilitate the securing of "DEVSECOP" spaces by interfacing with facilities management on maintenance, construction, physical and operational security

  • Provide guardrails and guidance on how to have an open internal culture that remains insulated from intelligence threats through a comprehensive OPSEC training program while meeting or exceeding DCSA requirements

  • Experienced in certifying and ensuring compliance with hybrid networks, data centers, and other internal / external comprehensive networks

  • Deep understanding of the risk frameworks related to Controlled Unclassified Information in relation to codebases, and software factories

  • Understanding of how the software / hardware toolchain and technical stacks function from a business and technical side, and provide security and supportability checks

  • Ability to provide developers with the ability to focus solely on developing software by providing and managing the technical foundation and safe spaces for innovation to happen and provide developers the ability to create and implement new ideas by reducing or eliminating the noise and necessity for attention to the mundane

  • Experienced practitioner in Kanban / Agile methodologies

  • Knowledge of network based, system level, and application layer attacks and mitigation methods

  • Extensive Experience working with container technology including Docker and Kubernetes

  • Experience in DevOps environments and maintaining security in CI/CD processes
