The new Ten Mile Urgent Care clinic is now hiring for two motivated and adaptable Medical Assistants!

Position Summary & Highlights

• $1500 Sign-On Bonus Offered to external candidates!

• This position will work with a variety of providers and other MAs and RNs in a care team environment.

What You Will Do:

• In addition to primary MA duties, you will also perform phlebotomy, administer immunizations, and prep injections.

• You will assist with minor procedures, complete POC and other tests, and also complete tasks and orders in the task inbox.

• An ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, is adaptable and dependable.

• You also like working in a strong team environment, have effective communication skills, and have solid critical thinking skills

• Please note that initial training will be done at other Saint Alphonsus Urgent Care locations in the Treasure Valley until the clinic fully opens middle to end of May.

Work Schedule:

• 36 hours/week, 3 - 12s, This position will work two days during the work week (Monday

• Friday) and every other weekend (Saturdays and Sundays).

• Day shift is 7:00am

• 7:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:

• American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)

• American Medical Technologists (RMA)

• National Healthcare Association (CCMA)

• National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)

• American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire

• For new MA graduates, minimum of 100 hour externship or MA work experience is required.
