Analysts at Harris Williams play an integral role in all of the firm's merger and acquisition advisory activities. Analysts are expected to be active contributors during every phase of the deal process and are encouraged to handle a high level of responsibility on transaction teams. As a Summer Analyst, you will work on live deals and contribute to the following:
Major Deal Process Deliverable Creation:
Confidential Information Memorandum
Actively participating in deal team, pitch, and due diligence meetings as well as management presentations
Representing HW throughout the entire deal process
Organizing and participating in meetings and calls
Conducting marketing calls
Harris Williams dedicates a great deal of effort to hire individuals who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement excellence both inside and outside of the classroom. Eligible candidates should be working towards a Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher as a prerequisite. No specific academic major is required; however, basic knowledge of finance and accounting is desired.

Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience, but possessing relevant skills. Includes individuals joining the organization through a Corporate development/ training program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
