The Nampa Orthopedics clinic is looking for a passionate and personable Medical Assistant!

Position Summary & Highlights:

• $1500 Sign On Bonus offered to external applicants!

• You will be a part of the Nampa Orthopedics team working with MAs, RNs, Athletic Trainers, and our orthopedic physicians and surgeons.

• This position may occasionally work at our Fruitland clinic location.

• Our clinics offer patients both surgical and non-surgical treatment options for their problems. Patients can feel confident they are in capable hands with board-certified Orthopedic Surgeons whose highest priority is excellence in patient care.

What You Will Do:

• In addition to the typical MA duties, you will prep injections for minor procedures, complete chart prep, DME application, and suture removals.

• You will also assist with surgery scheduling, prior authorizations, in-basket tasks, regulatory items, MRI authorizations, and potentially casting, splinting, and cast removal.

• An ideal candidate would have an interest in sports medicine and orthopedics, is a quick learner, has an easy going personality, and is a flexible team player willing to jump in on whatever is needed to be done.

Work Schedule:

This position will work Monday

• Friday, typically 8:00am

• 5:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:

• American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)

• American Medical Technologists (RMA)

• National Healthcare Association (CCMA)

• National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)

• American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

• For new MA graduates, minimum of 100 hour externship or MA work experience is required.
