The primary responsibility of the M life Representative is to provide service to guests and specifically to guests at the M life desk, by enrolling them in the M life program. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Assists players with all requests in a professional and timely manner.

  • Explains the M life program in detail and redeems guests' points.

  • Evaluates members' play and issues comps based on established M life guidelines.

  • Utilizes all aspects of the Player Tracking System.

  • Answers any questions and addresses any problems with players as well as Slot Hosts.

  • Stays informed about all Slot Division activities and Bellagio events.

  • Inputs all player information into the database system and issues Players Club cards.

  • Communicates new ideas to upper management in order to improve productivity.

  • Complies with all company regulations and policies.

  • Performs all other job related duties as requested.

Required:

  • At least 6 months of customer service experience.

  • Excellent public relations and communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Working knowledge of Player Tracking systems.

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual.

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures. * Ensure superior food quality and presentation consistent with AAA Five Diamond/Forbes Five Star standards and take corrective action to resolve any areas of concern * Creates a culture of excellence that promotes high-quality, fiscally responsible and efficient operations * Develops and implements strategic plan consistent with the Company's strategic vision * Provides leadership in the development and monitoring of budgets and Profit & Loss statements to produce both short-term and long-term profitability * Establishes measurable goals and objectives that focus on profit, product and people * Oversee the design, creation, testing and execution of menu items and presentation * Maintain exceptional menu knowledge and attention to detail and perform periodic reviews of all menus * Assist Catering Department with developing special menus for functions and meet with clients * Manages food costs and utilize analytics to identify potential efficiencies; ensure proper usage and rotation of all perishable food items. * Ensures that all outlets maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas. * Instruct staff in the correct usage and care of all machinery in the kitchen operation, emphasizing safety. * Maintain operational control of purchasing, receiving, product and purveyor lists. * Portray Bellagio with a professional, charismatic image when interacting with all media. * Participates in the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to ensure a competitive position. * Conducts market research on latest trends, products and technology and remain actively involved with corporate programs and vendors. * Creates a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction. * Maintain complete knowledge of all policies, procedures and standards to ensure employee compliance, including employee Food Handler cards. * Ensures employees meet both state, departmental and company standard requirements concerning sanitation and personal hygiene. * Oversee programs that provide staff with proper training and developmental opportunities to aid in career aspirations. * Ensure that all hiring practices, employee disciplinary actions are in accordance with all laws and the culinary bargaining agreement. * Provide performance feedback, coordinate disciplinary actions and counsel employees. * Develops solid relationships with external partners and ensure their products and services align with Bellagio's standards. * Drives Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to ensure successful outcomes. * Assists the Vice President of F&B by controlling food and labor cost and establishing goals and objectives that focus on profit, product and people. * Assist the Vice President of F&B by controlling of purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of all kitchen departments. * Conducts weekly meetings with Purchasing in order to address all issues that may arise. * Performs all other job related duties as requested. * Perform other job related duties as requested Required: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience * At least 5 years of supervisory experience * At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef within a AAA Four/Five Diamond or Forbes Four/Five Star property or equivalent culinary environment. * High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: * At least three 3 years of experience at a multiple-outlet property with large-scale luxury Banquet business * Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts or recognized formal certified training program from a national culinary association * Experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement * Previous experience in a similar resort setting MGM Resorts Las Vegas NV
