Hospitalist Cardiology opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey between Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore. Best of both worlds- no weekends, evenings, or nights and hospital medicine Great opportunity for a PA or NP that loves caring for acute patients but wants the outpatient hours.

About the Hospitalist Cardiology PA or NP opportunity Hours are 8 am- 4:30 pm, Monday- Friday 2 Physicians and 2 APP on Hospital team Census is 35-55 range each day Private Practice employee not Hospital No call or weekends Round daily on 10-15 patients Work independently- consults, follow ups, admissions (rare) Occasional admission and discharge from cath lab EKG and Stress testing interpretation Patient admitted for MI, Hypertension, Cardiomyopathy, CHF, Ischemic heart disease, CVA EMR is EPIC Requirements of the Hospitalist Cardiology PA or NP opportunity Master’s Degree completed (PA or NP) National Certification New Jersey State Medical Licensure 3 years of Hospital Based Medicine experience as PA or NP 12 lead EKG and Stress test reading Echo courses and training a bonus Perks of the Hospitalist Cardiology PA or NP opportunity Base salary of $120,000-$140,000 Annual Bonus Malpractice with tail coverage Health Insurance Vision and Dental Insurance 401K with 3% match 4 weeks of PTO 9 paid annual vacations 1 week of sick and personal time 1 week of CME time with $3000 allowance Excellent location and practice with opportunity to manage patients in hospital setting without the disruptive 7 on and 7 off schedule.
