Job Opening: LVN for Adult Primary Mental HealthLocation: Malibu, CASchedule:  8 hour shifts, day time5 days a week, including a Saturday or SundayDuties:1.  The LVN is responsible for providing a variety of community substance use nursing services which focus on prevention, treatment, education, and rehabilitation of the physical and mental health of the client.2.  The LVN collaborates as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team (Treatment Team) to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.3.  Assists with self-administration of medication policy to document and observe patient medication regimen for all patients at all levels of care.4.  Ensures accurate documentation of medication orders.5.  Observes patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment and taking any necessary action.6.  Works as part of a health care team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions.7.  Reviews medication logs and consults with patients and physicians regarding refills.8.  Provides monitoring and supervision of patients to support non-clinical staff.9.  Performs breath analysis and monitors urine test samples from patients. Documents and records results.10.  Similar duties as needed.Requirements:1.  LVN or LPN license valid in California.2.  Experience with mental health or substance abuse desired.Compensation:  $37-$40 per hour plus benefitsMedical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance.
