As a LUX Wine Manager, you'll be working closely with various distributors to drive the sales of the LUX Brands in fine wine retail and on-premise accounts within Florida and Georgia. The LUX Wine Manager will take their passion for fine wine and build strong distributor programming and account relationships, manage education initiatives, event activations, and spokesperson visits. The LUX Wine Manager will be part of an encouraging team that highly values new opportunities presented.

What You Will Do

  • Manages the sales of LUX premium brands within FL and GA.

  • Promotes positive relationships across the winery sales organization.

  • Participates in and conducts training for winery and distributor sales personnel as well as account personnel (wine tasting and wait staff training).

  • Makes regular sales calls on all relevant Fine Wine and Fine Dining accounts in the assigned markets to provide the primary relationship between the account and LUX.

  • Improves distribution and sales rate of winery products by executing focused sales strategies and efforts.

  • Presents programs to winery and distributor sales organizations.

  • Participates in spokesperson initiatives.

  • Communicates/promotes the winery's premium brand marketing activities to the winery's sales organization.

  • Supports the winery's product education efforts for LUX premium brands.

  • Demonstrates and above average wine knowledge.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of premium wine or spirits sales experience including on premise wine sales, wine sales management or sommelier experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of Gallo winery sales or Gallo affiliated distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR 11 years of premium wine or spirits sales experience including on premise wine sales, wine sales management or sommelier experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Required to travel by air and car as to execute job duties.

  • Valid driver's license. Required to obtain a California driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire.

  • Required to be 21 years of age or older.

  • Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.

  • High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of Gallo winery sales or Gallo affiliated distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Experience with selling Gallo premium or luxury brands.

  • Skilled in all basic fine wine training (Gallo Wine Academy, Napa, Sonoma, and Central Coast); currently be in the process (within 6-9 months) of CSW certification.

  • Sommelier certification levels II-IV preferred.

  • Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

  • Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence and press releases.

  • Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clientele, customers and the general public.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and utilizing specialized software such as SMIS Data Warehouse, JDE, IRI, Nielson and Spectra.

  • Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, proportion, percentage, area, circumference and volume.

  • Skilled in solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Skilled in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

  • Skilled in seeing, smelling and tasting wine as part of wine tasting.

The CG DC Account Manager consults with clients on complex issues such as plan design, compliance, product developments, special projects, fees, etc. He/she is responsible for the overall relationship management with the main focus on client satisfaction and retention. Primary executive-level contact who will provide clients' management teams with industry-level overview, trends, etc. while exploring cross-sell opportunities for USI. Responsibilities: * Measure service quality and ensure that DC depart meets client deliverables on an ongoing basis * Perform quality control checking and coordinate delivery of periodic plan Investment Reviews; effectively work with service teams to implement any investment fund changes requested by clients * Ensure timely completion, review and delivery of annual plan Direct Analysis Report Cards; schedule meetings to discuss results with clients and establish action plans for the upcoming year * Coordinate education campaigns for assigned plans to demonstrate their value to employees and promote plan participation, including development of compliance-approved materials and delivery of presentations as needed * Ensure required fee disclosures are accurately prepared and delivered to clients in accordance with industry regulations * Participate in the pricing, documentation and completion of special projects, including preparation and proper filing of Supplemental Service Agreements executed by clients * Assist with department's monthly billing, ensuring project billing log is updated timely * Ensure monthly metrics are accurately and timely recorded for department reports to management * Educate sales representatives on technical and legislative changes, product enhancements, DC policies and procedures, etc. * DC Department liaison to the legal department coordinating plan drafting, amendments, SPDs, corrective actions, etc. Ensure assigned plans are in compliance with IRS/DOL regulations * to service clients and identify cross-sell opportunities * Build and maintain a positive team spirit * Assume the lead role in the establishment of new client relationships and new business implementation for retirement plans, including: o Assist with prospective client website demonstrations, DC capabilities/finalist presentations o Manage conversion of assigned new business following department checklists/procedures o Lead and actively participate in transition meetings or conference calls o Establish and continually review conversion timetable; monitor progress, working with service teams to ensure timely completion of all deliverables o Coordinate timely preparation and execution of required plan documentation for all parties, including USICG, USI Securities, USI Investment Advisors, the Plan's trustee/custodian, etc. o Develop client-specific materials to address unique client needs and plan provisions o Establish proper client expectations and adjust with client as required * Mentor DC new hires at all levels, individually or in group setting, sharing company and industry expertise with team members; participate in development and delivery of internal training sessions; provide constructive feedback to DC Senior Management concerning new hires' progress * Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Bachelor's or more advanced degree in Mathematics, Business, Finance or Accounting * Advanced computer skills-knowledge of Windows environment, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint * 7-10 years minimum related business experience, demonstrating recordkeeping and compliance expertise * ASPPA certification preferred * Ability to creatively and proactively problem-solve, adhering to all regulatory requirements * Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy environment * Effective communication skills with clients and co-workers, both verbal and written * Personable and credible * Demonstrates cooperation and collaboration in a team setting Job ID: 19096 USI Fort Lauderdale FL
