Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is a private not-for-profit hospital and one of the most comprehensive medical facilities in West Central Florida serving a dozen counties with a population in excess of 4 million. Coordinates activities related to a variety of pulmonary diseases, largely in the outpatient setting. Specific diseases include pulmonary nodules, lung cancer,
tobacco addiction, and related problems. An important aspect of this position involves excellent interpersonal relationships with patients, physicians, ability to
process and analyze data, scheduling services and the ability to determine patient eligibility for lung cancer screening testing (reviewing Medical Records for Past Medical History/Smoking History etc.) Coordinates additional work up for patients based on treatment planning- including diagnostic procedures,
lung resections and/or adding patients to Lung Tumor Board; schedules and facilitates testing and navigating patients within the TGH/TGMG System.

Must have a Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited School of Nursing with licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse by the State of Florida. Three years related work experience required. Demonstrated history as a highly self-motivated and results oriented professional; excellent oral, written and presentation skills; excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to plan, direct, implement, and evaluate simultaneous projects; strong organizational skills; and the ability to work at a fast pace and respond in a timely manner to numerous requests is required.
