Job Goal: To help establish and maintain a safe and clean environment in the cafeteria and on the playground.

Reporting Level: Building Administrator

Performance Responsibilities

Assists professional staff in maintaining discipline and control in the cafeteria and on the playground.

Organizes students into orderly lines for purchasing food.

Organizes groups for orderly dismissal from cafeteria or playground.

Informs supervising professional staff of any serious infraction of disciplinary rules by students.

Refers students to the school nurse or office in case of injury or accident.

Provides assistance to cafeteria custodians with table clearance as the need arises.

Performs any other duties as assigned by the building administrator.

Terms of Employment: Ten month position. Salary in accordance with negotiated agreement.

Evaluation: Written performance evaluation by administrative supervisor.
