Lube Technician - Sarasota, FL

Lube Technician manages all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks. They diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions. They are responsible for the service and customer support during field visits and dispatches.

Essential Functions

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

• Inspect vehicles for safety and identify potential issues.

• Communicate with customers about vehicle concerns and maintenance needs.

• Ensure that all work is performed in an efficient and timely manner.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

• Continuously learn and improve technical skills through training and development.

• Assist other team members, as needed.

Required Education and Experience

• Previous experience with diesel engines and construction equipment preferred.

• Proven field service experience preferred. • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.

• Must have own tools.

• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.

Work Environment

• The environment is consistent with that of construction, heavy equipment, and repair yard.

• May work in extreme conditions on job sites.

Travel Required

• Position may require several hours of driving daily to job sites.

Physical Demands

• Must be physically able to work in a jobsite environment for extensive periods to include lifting up to 50lbs, bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching. Must be physically able to work in extreme conditions on job sites Night / Weekend On-Call work required.
