Responsibilities

  • Produce a high volume of outreach using prospect calls, emails, and various other provided resources.

  • Create new relationships with customers and establish new revenue for sustained growth.

  • Understand customer pain points, gather technical requirements, and correlate business value to customer needs.

  • Maintain acquired LTL customers; grow and expand relationships with them.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are understood and supported.

  • Understand the use of Transportation Management System (TMS) and its use as a selling tool.

  • Utilize Salesforce in accordance with company policy and expectations.

  • Provide outstanding service and reliability to customer base.

  • Achieve consistent GP #'s from new accounts.

  • Meet with supervisor regularly to brainstorm on account base and growth strategies.

  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • 1 year of sales experience required.

  • Logistics experience dealing with the customer-facing side of the business required.

  • Experience growing and managing a book of LTL business with a strong understanding of LTL pricing & operations highly preferred.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and follow-thru abilities.

  • Proactive problem-solving and negotiation aptitude.

  • Strong work ethic with team mentality.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.

  • Positive attitude.

Reporting to our Dallas office with normal working hours of 7:30 a.m.

  • 4:30 p.m. CST Monday

  • Friday.
