Key Responsibilities include: * Conducts ongoing and individualized nursing care duties as assigned and as dictated by the patient's condition in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. * Reports change in patient physical, mental status or episodes of seclusion or restraint to nurse manager or supervisor during each shift. * Collaborates with other team members in the development, implementation, and evaluation of an individualized plan of care. * Performs treatments and therapies as ordered by physician in an appropriate and timely fashion. * Documents patient care, findings, and psychosocial responses to nursing interventions. * Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved. * Administer patient medications as prescribed by physician. Assessing vital signs and accu-checks prior to dispensing medications. * Provide education to patients on their prescribed medications, documenting this in the patient record. * Complete nursing admission assessments and daily nursing assessments. * Direct and assist mental health clinicians in the care and direction of patient. * State of Pennsylvania registered nurse RN licensure; BSN Preferred * Current CPR training. * Previous experience in behavioral health preferred. * Strong communication skills * Excellent customer service and organization skills * Highly effective listening skills * Strong clinical skills Competitive shift and weekend differential eligible position.
