LTC Pharmacist - PRN - GLE

Overview

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to add to our growing team at our Pharmacy located in Beachwood, OH!

• This is an On-Site Position*

Responsibilities

• Possess knowledgeable understanding of current medication information, health care concepts and all regulations relative to the practices of institutional pharmacy.

• Interpret and assess new and refill order requests accurately to ensure appropriate therapy and maintain patient safety.

• Clarify inappropriate physician orders when necessary.

• Prepare and complete all appropriate documentation required on orders, prescriptions, controlled substance records, general workflow, etc.

• Provide physicians, nursing staff, and public with drug information such as drug selection, dosage, proper administration, etc.

Working Hours with flexible shifts to cover:

• Day

• Nights

• Weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from NABP accredited College of Pharmacy.

• Institutional pharmacy experience required.

• Valid state registered pharmacist license.
