LSE Splash Pad Lead
ABOUT THIS POSITION:
EXPECTED HIRING RANGE: $14.00 - 18.00
WORK LOCATION: Pleasant Park, 3400 Pleasant Plains Rd, Apex, NC 27502 USA
SCHEDULE: The splash pad is open 7 days a week from 10am-6pm, which requires individuals to be able to work a flexible work schedule to include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This is a limited service employee position with no benefits.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
The LSE Splash Pad Lead will assist with seasonal staff training and being the lead attendant on duty. This position supervises participants using the splash pad at Pleasant Park for the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department. Work includes enforcing Town of Apex Splash Pad rules and regulations to ensure safety of all users, performing scheduled facility inspections to ensure safety of premises and controlling entry during periods of heavy use.
A SAMPLE OF THE ESSENTIALS:
Greets the public and answers questions in a friendly manner.
Responds to inquires from customers and guest or refers them to the appropriate staff
Enforces splash pad rules and town policies.
Monitors the facility to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
Controls entry when capacity is reached.
Performs facility inspections to ensure participant safety.
Prepares paperwork such as incident and injury reports when necessary.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
Ability to contact local emergency personnel in the event of a medical emergency at the splash pad.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, and the public.
