  • Catalogue and manage the in-flow from APAC, UK&I and European branch network of research requests in support of new business submissions and renewal accounts.

  • Conduct risk- and product liability-focused research on pharmaceutical, medical device, dietary supplement/traditional Chinese medicine, and healthcare information technology products and companies using:

  • Public websites (Chinese & English-language)

  • Subscription websites (English-language)

  • Proprietary documents and information provided by Chubb customers (Chinese & English-language)

  • Summarize research findings into research report for requesting underwriters in due course.

  • Keep Industry Practices (IP) Asia Manager apprised of key developments identified during account-related research work.

  • Work with Industry Practices (IP) Asia Manager to achieve all aspects of the research and underwriting plan for the division;

  • Ensure the application of LS underwriting standards and philosophy across APAC Portfolio;

  • Servicing field Underwriters accurately and efficiently;

  • Accountable for pricing decision

  • Monitoring and acting on underwriting issues such as exposure control, rate adequacy, reinsurance requirements, etc.

  • Production underwriting process and analysis

  • Provide back-up support to Life Science underwriters out of the region during periods of peak workload

Develop approaches for conducting high-paced research in an open, public-facing environment while simultaneously protecting sensitive information. Facilitate technical discussions with government program managers and subject matter experts to comprehend research topics. Conduct independent research to identify a world-wide level of interest and technical capabilities of other foreign governments and commercial organizations relative to the research activity's technical discipline. Develop classification recommendations. Draft formal documentation, including classification guides, vulnerability assessments of businesses and organizations, periodic program security reviews, and counterintelligence notes. Basic Qualifications: * Experience with Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) or counterintelligence analysis * Experience with research technology protection (RTP) * Experience with export control determination * Experience with developing threat assessments for broad technical disciplines * Experience with compartmented or special access programs * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph * BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: * Experience in supply chain risk management * Experience with Microsoft Word * Ability to conduct independent research using various information systems and tools * Possession of excellent organizational skills, including task tracking and file management * Possession of excellent technical writing skills * Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to thrive in a team environment * MS degree in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
