Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN is looking for an LPN to work in busy urgent care. This position is for a casual opening with the ability to work day/evening/night shift, for 8hr shifts.

Responsibilities/Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of, and aligns with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.

• Actively participates in crafting and implementing improvements.

• Supports the nursing process to achieve outcome focused patient care by following the plan of care in order to achieve identified patient outcomes.

• Observes and collects data to contribute to the assessments of the patient and family in order to develop an outcome focused plan of care.

• Follows the plan of care in order to achieve identified patient outcomes.

• Intervenes in emergency situations as appropriate within scope of practice.

• Communicates optimally with patient/family, physicians, and the interdependent team regarding the care of the patient.

• Contributes to the achievement of patient and unit outcomes (Safety, cost, quality, happiness, engagement) by working collaboratively with inter and intra departmental teams

Qualifications

Requirements:

1 to 3 years experience

Trade or vocational certification

Practical Nursing Diploma from an accredited school of nursing

Registry on the MN board of Nursing

BLS
