Looking for PRN nurses, any shift

At Sunrise, our LPN Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe organized manner.


- Administration of medications- Documentation of medication administration- Providing resident care while demonstrating the Mission for Sunrise Senior Living, 'to champion the quality of life for all senior' in accordance with federal, state and local standards- Promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents in accordance to the Sunrise Senior Living policies

- L.P.N, LVN or state specific licensed nurse credential- In states where appropriate, must maintain certifications- Must be at least 18 years of age- Previous experience working with seniors preferred and desire to serve and care for seniors- Ability to make choices, decisions and act in the resident's best interest- Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations- Ability to handle multiple priorities- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills- As applicable, all Sunrise team members who drive a Sunrise vehicle must sign the Driver job description, understand the key essential duties for safety and regulatory compliance- Minimum of six (6) months experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, independent living, hospital or long term care environment and desire to serve and care for seniors- Decision making abilities and acting in the resident's best interest, ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations and possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding

Dungarvin Minnesota is currently seeking a LPN to provide nursing services for people with varying abilities residing in group home environments. In this position you would be responsible to: * Work cooperatively with the supervisor, staff and peers in developing, implementing, and evaluating individual care and programming. This individual should follow up directly with the supervisor on any program or personnel issues within the home. He or she should follow up with the supervisor in areas related to household, medical, or maintenance needs in the home. * Provide the individuals with direct services and skilled nursing. When authorized to provide nursing services as part of the service delivery team for a person with disabilities, is responsible to assure the individual receives quality health care services within the prevailing standards or current practice of community-based health care. * Assists the supervisor in training other staff, provides leadership and guidance to staff in the supervisor's absence, coordinate/provide the health services of individuals under the supervision (as defined by the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act) of the registered nurse (designated registered nurse), performs specifically delegated medical and nursing actions, as determined by the physician and/or supervisor. Requirements: * Must be a licensed practical nurse, currently licensed in the State of Minnesota * Preferably with experience in service for persons with developmental disabilities or long-term care * Basic computer skills * Strong observational, organization & communication skills * Ability to work independently & as a team member * Experience with physical, psychological &/or developmental disabilities a plus * Valid driver license with acceptable driving record. * May be full or part-time; with a mixture of weekday and weekend hours. The specific number and times of scheduled hours should be set upon hiring. The LPN-staff may request a change in hours. The supervisor may approve and/or mandate a change in hours based on services and individual needs.
