Assists the pharmacist in filling physician orders for medications for oral, rectal,topical and injectable products. Prepares intravenous admixture solutions as required using aseptic technique in the Laminar Flow Hood under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Assists the department in maintaince all drug storage areas, receiving and storing drug products, repackaging medications,record keeping and appropriate handling of controlled substances.

9.Performs other duties as assigned.
Required: High School diploma or equivalent; pharmacy related experience preferred; maintain Pharmacy Tech Registration (CT); technician certification desirable.
Minimum Experience: zero to six months
Desired: Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, read and communicate effectively in English,, maintain dress code standards and maintain a neat and clean appearance
