Job Summary: Under supervision of the Program Manager, provides nursing care and services for residents.

Works collaborative with other nursing staff to coordinate and provide direction of care during weekday operations. Serves as coordinator of care for scheduled weekend and holiday shifts. Ensures care and service delivery are in conformance with regulations, policies, procedures, and standards, established by Community Care, the Program for all-inclusive Care for the Elderly and the State of Wisconsin. Includes CBRF regulations for any Coordinators working at the CBRF.

Location: 1555 South Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53215

Hours: 20 hours per week; AM/1st shift, 6:30AM - 3:00PM. Every other weekend and every other holiday per year.

Education: Diploma from accredited program in practical nursing required.

Experience: 2 years experience in a health care setting serving the elderly and medication passing experience required. Experience in a long- term care or CBRF setting preferred.

Education

License/Certification: A current Wisconsin LPN license and current CPR/AED certification are required.

Job Summary: Responsible for payroll processing, including reviewing deductions, verifying totals, and responding to/resolving moderately complex associate questions and problems. Maintains payroll data within HRIS system. Your responsibilities: * Processes weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees. * Reviews payroll deductions and ensures accuracy of payroll. * Downloads payroll information to outside payroll service provider for pay card and/or direct deposit processing. Distributes paycheck statements. * Inputs additional pay, time-off (i.e. PTO, funeral leave, etc.), and W-4 exemption changes based on submitted paperwork. * Answers questions from managers and associates, regarding time reporting and payroll procedures. * Works closely with the HR Department, referring questions on policy issues relating to payroll (such as overtime, vacations, etc.) to the HR Department for clarification and confirmation. * Assists with annual audit processes and other accounting tasks as assigned by manager. * May train and serve as a resource for less experienced payroll personnel. Required skills: * High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), Associates Degree in Accounting or Business preferred * A minimum of one year of experience processing payroll for a multi-state company preferred * Experience with HRIS/Payroll database systems, such as PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or ADP preferred * FPC or CPP certification a plus, but not required Brookdale is the largest senior living solutions company in the country, with 1,000+ communities in 46 states serving 110,000 residents around the country.
