LPN Or RN; Wound Care - On-Call

This position is responsible for patient care in the Wound Center.

RN: This would include: utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating, providing care through the use of hospital and nursing standards. This position may also include the ability to provide case management and care coordination for a group of patients.

RN Qualifications:

• Bachelor's prepared Registered Nurse preferred with a current license in the state of Minnesota.

• Medical Surgical, home health, or wound care experience desired.

• Wound Care Certification preferred.

• Maintains and demonstrates competency in BLS (Basic Life Support), infections control, safety and all unit required skill review.

• A proven professional that can provide excellent customer service and possess superior communication skills.

• Proficient in Windows-based computer systems. Current EMR experience preferred.

LPN: The LPN is responsible for all assigned nursing care activities to include but not limited to wound care for patients of all ages and other clinical activities associated with providing safe patient care. The LPN will be responsible for assisting with patient and wound care data collection for outcome-based care management.

LPN Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the State of Minnesota

• Able to provide excellent customer service and have a positive demeanor.

• Detail oriented with ability to multitask and take direction.

• Current BLS certification

• Proficient in Windows-based computer systems. Current EMR experience preferred.

Schedule:

On-Call/Casual hours vary as needed/as available and are not regularly scheduled each pay period.
