Job Description THE IMMEDIATE NEED IS FOR A WEEKEND INSTRUCTOR (8AM - 3PM CLASSES SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS) Company Description Winder CNA Training is a state-accredited Certified Nursing Assistant licensure school. The curriculum for each student consists of an online blended learning format.

Pursuant to completing their online coursework, Students must complete 40 hours of skills/lab instruction, along with 24 hours of clinical evaluations. Job Description: Winder CNA Training is searching for an LPN or RN Nurse Instructor – PRN.

The Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) Instructor will instruct students according to the curriculum designed to assist students to build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing the licensing exam for Georgia CNA. The instructor must possess the ability to work with students from different socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. The nurse instructor will teach a minimum of 40 hours of classroom lab instruction and 24 hours of clinical site evaluations.

The salary of employment will be contracted per class. Rate of Pay Negotiable per hour W-2 Employee The Nurse Educator will be paid a bank of hours for each course. This position will be PRN – the nurse educator will be needed roughly every two weeks for a new group of students.

Courses are not guaranteed every two weeks and can potentially be postponed. Specific Responsibilities: Teach the course curriculum as outlined in the American Red Cross Blended Learning Program Skills Manual.

Instructors shall also use the companion instructor’s guide. Build knowledge and develop clinical skills aimed at assisting students to obtain the CNA license Maintain accurate records on all students, including but not limited to attendance records, schedules, and course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content Evaluate and document students’ progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained Communicate effectively with students, and all those affiliated with the course, including staff at clinical training facilities, school staff, and prospective employers Provide a stimulating environment that encourages student participation, interpersonal skills development, and concepts of good patient care Maintain a monthly time sheet and turn in at required deadlines Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Owner Minimum Qualifications: Must hold an active Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license and not subject to any current disciplinary action Must have at least two years of nursing experience, with at least one year being within Long Term Care Upon hire, the applicant must complete the Alliant Health Train the Trainer Session Ability to perform physical work with patients and students in a clinical setting Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
