LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse (FT Days) - OB Clinic

Job Description Job Description: Seeking a licensed practical nurse to serve in our obstetrics and gynecology practice at our 32nd Avenue Building in Fargo.

The department has flexibility to hire this position at 0.8 FTE- 1.0 FTE, depending on candidate preference. A 0.8 FTE works 8 am to 5 pm, 4 days per week (32 hours per week) and a 1.0 works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) No weekends or on-call are required, and most major holidays are scheduled off. You will work alongside a provider within the OB/GYN Clinic to manage the day to day work of rooming patients, assist with procedures, and manage patient messages.

The ideal candidate has good time management skills, EPIC experience (helpful but not required), and excellent communication skills, including by telephone, in person, and through messaging. This position is hired into the department, not to work with a specific provider. There is also floating between departments as needed, with the appropriate orientation period.This LPN assists the RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory and/or home care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.

Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Education Qualifications: Education as required for licensure.

Valid ND state license to practice practical nursing. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 3 months of hire. MN LPN License required within 3 months of hire.
