When you sought a nursing career to make a difference in the lives of your patients and their families, you may never have imagined the most diverse patient population would be found in a correctional setting. While working in an Emergency Room you may have found security lacking at times and patient concerns may not be as emergent as the facility name would imply. Evidence based nursing decisions making an impact for an under-served patient population in a safe secure work environment may be just the career change you are looking for. About Us: Southern Health Partners began providing correctional medical services in 1994. Supporting teammates. Honoring commitments. Doing the right thing consistently, day in and day out, in task and relationship interactions. Qualifications: We are looking for a responsible licensed care giver to utilize their nursing skills for a diverse patient group. You will deliver patient care, review data collection, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s).
