POSITION SUMMARY Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist provider and nursing personnel.
Sets example of administering nursing care to patients and staff.
Provide education of preventive medicine and how to help control disease processes to patients and families.
Acts as a liaison between patient, provider, medical community and other services as needed by the patient.
Responsible for supplies in work area and maintaining a safe working environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES This section reviews the employees performance of the responsibilities outlined in his/her specific job description.

This Sections weight equals 25%. Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, assisting with office surgeries or injections and performing catheterizations.
Administer prescribed medications and injections, charting accurately, including the refilling of patients medications per physician standards.
Ability to triage patients concerns over the phone according to physicians standards of practice.
Perform prior authorizations for prescribed medications as needed for patients insurance.
Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, or history ie.
change in medications.
All other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Graduated from an accredited LPN/RN program.
Current LPN/RN Missouri License.
