External candidates may be eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus of $7,500 (prorated for part-time roles).

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Family Medicine Center Licensed Practical Nurse has responsibilities that include intake, processing of patients, phlebotomy and EKGs, simple patient/family treatment as directed by the professional staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

2.Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.

3.Two (2) years previous medical office experience or primary care experience preferred.

4.1-2 years of medical/surgical experience preferred.

5.Ability to function as an integral part of a team.

6.Excellent telephone skills

7.Must be detail oriented and organized.

8.Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening.

As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.

Secondary shift: 08:00 am - 4:30 pm
