Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse who enjoys the excitement of the hospital setting, but wish you could provide more specialized, quality care? Our nurses spend, on average, 4 times more time with patients than a general hospital staff nurse!

Location: St. Johns Hospital - 1575 Beam Avenue Saint Paul, MN

Schedule: work 3-4 days per week; shift times start 7am

What you can expect:

• Build meaningful and long term relationships with patients and their family in an intimate outpatient setting.

• Be a part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment.

• Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities which require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.

• You will work with your head, heart and hands each day in a fast paced environment.

Requirements:

• Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required

• Current CPR certification required

• IV certification required if required by state regulations

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system

• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation

• Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required)

• This position also requires successful completion of the pre-employment color blind test, accommodation may be provided.

Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible.
