Responsibilities

• Providing age appropriate care to assigned patients: medical, surgical, pediatric, geriatric, emergency, same day surgery, swing bed, outpatients, respite

• Applying knowledge of basic growth and development in patient care

• Incorporating knowledge of the nursing process in the performance of patient assessments

• Providing care based on the physical, psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing Program.

• Current licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse by the Minnesota State Board of Nursing

• BLS, ACLS, PALS (ACLS & PALS completed within 12 months of employment) will be acquired and maintained.
