What it takes to be a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN at Brookdale:

LPN's will assist in maintaining the physical, social and psychological environment in the best interest of residents. LPN's monitor care of residents according to treatment plans prescribed by a physician as well as documenting responses to care plans. In addition, licensed practical nurses will administer medications, ensure cleanliness and security of medicine supply room and adhere to company systems, procedures and processes. LPN or LVN License Required.

Position will float between all urgent care offices including: Lenoir City, Seymour, Sevierville and West Knoxville. Job duties include but are not limited to, assisting physicians with patient care, scheduling, prior authorizations and pre-certs, communicating test results, phlebotomy, and CLIA testing. The position also requires the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians and co-workers. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organization are critical to the overall success of the candidate. The position would also require the capability to perform the following clerical task if needed, greeting patients, ensure that patients complete necessary forms; maintain patient demographics and insurance information; verify insurance eligibility; collect copays; scheduling appointments; and document scanning. Must be comfortable with CLIA guidelines and maintaining/updating all OSHA manuals in all clinic locations. Salary based on experience level. The shift for this position is Sunday thru Thursday working 8 hour shifts from 8:45 am - 5:15 pm. The position will work 40 hours per week. Requirements Must have previous medical experience.
