Part Time - Option of every or every other weekend

Saturday-Sunday 6a-2p

Saturday-Sunday 2p-10p

Weekend shift differential

Memory Care experience is beneficial

SUMMARY

Assists residents with prescribed medical treatment and personal care services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Takes and records patient's vital signs.
• Applies compresses, ice bags, and hot water bottles.
• Observe residents and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to medical personnel in charge. Assist with self-administered specified medication and notes time and amount on residents' records.
• Cleans equipment and supplies.
• Monitors food trays for prescribed diet.
• Records food and fluid intake and output, as required
• Answers resident's calls.
• Inventories and requisitions supplies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises 1 or more employees in the Resident Healthcare Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Must pass drug screening and background check.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid State Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse License; Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
