LPN Adjunct Clinical Instructor

Description

South College Nashville Campus is conducting a search for the position of adjunct clinical instructor teaching clinical/ lab for the School of Nursing LPN program. This is a evenings and weekends program. Labs are in the evening during the week and clinicals are typically on the weekend.

Clinical sites include the hospital setting, long term care facilities, rehab centers, mental health hospitals, and other various locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional standards of practice in teaching in the clinical settings.

• Collaborate with course faculty and works closely with clinical coordinator.

• Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking/reasoning during clinical while fostering a positive learning environment.

• Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with clinical agencies.

• Monitors student progress with evaluations and grades care plans as assigned. Provides positive and constructive feedback if needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must hold a minimum of BSN degree in Nursing

• Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Tennessee
