POSITION SUMMARY:

To be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Service, and Stewardship by participating in the process of developing and maintaining system wide standards for voice/data systems by representing medical and non-medical low voltage systems and products that impact the Health First network. This includes fire alarm, building (energy) management system, emergency phones, utility system alarms (medical gas, generator, pumps, etc.) and direct line connectivity (elevators, etc.).

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Participates in design of wireless systems, security systems, structured cabling standards, cable tray layouts, IDF/MDF room layouts, audio visual components and capabilities, visitor management system, vendor credentialing system, point of sale systems, asset tracking systems, DAS, public address electronic messaging and devices (hardware) and participating with Health First's various IT teams regarding these items. Works both independently and collaboratively throughout various phases of a project.

Quality/No Harm:

  • Assembles data required by PMO, IT, outside vendors, consultants, and engineers to begin project design.

  • Conducts regular, on-going regulatory compliance and quality reviews of standards.

  • Advises Facilities & Construction Leadership team of future projects based on compliance and quality reviews.

Stewardship:

  • Develops, monitors, and reports on the schedules, timelines, and budget for each project.

  • Coordinates weekly huddles and regular meetings with Facilities and Construction Leadership, PMO, IT, system users, vendors, consultants, and contractors, to ensure on schedule completion of projects.

  • Reviews and approves request for payment from vendors, consultants, and contractors.

  • Reviews and administers contracts/agreements, change orders, amendments, and additional services.

Customer Experience:

  • Develops strategies for upgrades and replacement of refreshed or obsolete low voltage

  • Job Description systems.

  • Coordinates low voltage product review and demonstrations with Facilities and Construction Leadership team.

  • Participates in healthcare technology projects, working with IT, PMO, internal and external customers for specific low voltage project needs. Systems, include PACS, telemedicine, telemetry, eICU, physiological monitoring, nurse call, etc.

  • Clearly communicates all project status to Facilities and Construction Leadership team.

  • Assures training is provided, as needed, to Facilities Leadership, Facilities staff, and system users, prior to final payment to contractor.

  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends for low voltage products, software, and connectivity to IT managed network infrastructure and associated applications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction/Engineering/Information Technology or related field is preferred; years of experience will be accepted in place of degree.

  • High School diploma required.

  • 5 years in project management experience required

  • 5 years low voltage experience strongly preferred with Bachelor's degree.

  • 2 years hospital facilities experience preferred.

  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification preferred.

  • Customer service skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional critical thinking skills and ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Ability to monitor and coordinate multiple healthcare construction projects simultaneously.

  • Strong financial management/budgeting skills.

  • Must be willing to work at multiple Health First locations across Brevard County, Florida.

Position Overview This position will have oversight to both the Melbourne and Alafaya operations. Provide leadership, training, supervision and support to the Concrete Delivery Professionals, Batch concrete and maintain plants. Supervision Duties * Evaluate, Oversee, and Manage all aspects of Batch Operations * Evaluate, monitor, and coach personnel supervised. * Manage the workforce assigned to your plant daily. * Issue discipline at the direction of the Regional Operations Manager. * Direct work at plant locations and job sites. * Review time cards, act on, and where appropriate, approve payroll claims. * Attendance and on-time monitoring. * Complete all paperwork and reports required by the company. * Positively supervise and motivate professional drivers and yardman if applicable. * Control expenditures and maximize profits for the plant, region, and company. * Implement and maintain 5s program. * Adhere to and positively communicate all company policies. Safety & Environmental * Assure compliance with ALL safety programs. * Hold weekly Take 5 meetings with all employees and visitors. * Confirm that proper maintenance is conducted on all equipment. * Manage storm-water / spill prevention program. * Conduct routine safety inspections and report corrections as needed. * Assist with accident & environmental investigation / compliance. * Maintain all records required for Greenstar compliance Vehicle and Equipment Service and Maintenance * Routinely inspect vehicles and equipment - report repair priorities. * Insure plants and operating equipment is clean and properly maintained. * Insure safety equipment is maintained. * Perform routine plant maintenance. * Schedule vehicle repairs through Regional Manager. Quality Assurance * Perform and record product testing as required on a daily basis. * Maintain stock piles in accordance with DOT standards. * Maintain calibration of moisture probes. * Must keep an open line of communication with the Quality Control department. (Any mix design variations, etc.) * Maintain daily black diary. Operations * Perform batching of concrete, ensuring that proper mix design and job specifications are followed. * Coordinate raw material orders with Customer Service Center. * Maintain specified inventory levels on all materials. * Perform general maintenance on plant equipment and facilities as needed. * Responsible for all monies received. * Adhere to returned concrete policy.
