Corbett Technology Solutions, Inc. (CTSI), located in Baltimore, MD, has an immediate opening for a Low Voltage Electronics Technician 3. Technicians are responsible for the installation, configuration and service of different low voltage systems.
Communicate scope of work, project time line, project design, and budget for small to medium projects to management and client.
Accountable for the successful completion of project to include: timely results, quality of work, customer satisfaction (project closeout)
Assemble and install small to medium low voltage systems with minimal guidance. Coordinate with various company departments, management, and clients to ensure smooth work flow.
Troubleshoot complex systems, identify and resolve problems.
Coordinate with Project Manager to direct team of technicians to meet project requirements.
Ensure materials are available at job site.
Ensure job site is cleaned daily.
Knowledge of hand tools, test/setup equipment and company machinery. Demonstrate ability to train others in use.
Read/understand technical drawings, programming and installation guides.
Expand knowledge of various low voltage systems.
Arrive for work as directed.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients, management and peers. Ability to make presentations to management, clients, or others as directed.
Advanced computer skills and software knowledge to include MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), company software and job required software/programs.
Develop goals, prioritize and organize tasks to accomplish the project.
Anticipate and resolve problem/changes: seek assistance as required.
Function as team leader in specific area of expertise.
Guide and direct team of technicians, Set performance standards and daily tasking.
Maintain professionalism in high stress situations.
Must be able to occasionally travel overnight.
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum: At least 5 years of experience working with low voltage electronic systems, professional audio/video, access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, nurse call, public address, etc.
Some formal training in electronics, knowledge and certification required.
Applicant must be a self-starter, able to lead multiple projects simultaneously, must be able to read and interpret construction drawings, and thrive in a construction environment.
Other job duties include material management, and time & schedule management.
