To welcome patrons upon entry into lounge, preserve order among patrons, and protect hotel property.
Schedules staff for banquet bar and restaurant departments.
Addresses patron complaints.
Assign work tasks & coordinates activities of department staff to ensure appropriate staffing coverage in order to give prompt and courteous service to patrons.
Inspect lounge for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other supplies.
Interview, hire, and discharge department personnel. Trains department employees. Schedules work hours and keep time records of department associates.
Plans the overall beverage operations to include purchasing, training, staffing and guest relations. Responsible for department budget and financial performance.
Responsible for managing inventory and inventory control.
Design and implement programs/promotions that maximize revenue and profit.
Acts as Manager on Duty as scheduled. Is responsible for evening/PM management of the property.
Other duties as assigned.
Speak clearly and talk easily with all kinds of people to put them at ease.
Use judgment and reasoning to cope with emergencies, such as sudden illness, accident, or interrupted service.
Perform a variety of activities, changing activities often and sometimes without notice.
