Brookdale Volkswagen is seeking a dedicated and reliable Lot Tech / Lot Attendant to join our dealership team. As a Lot Tech, you will play a vital role in maintaining the organization and appearance of our vehicle inventory lot, ensuring that vehicles are showcased to our customers in an attractive and accessible manner. Key Responsibilities:

1.Lot Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle lot by regularly removing debris, trash, and snow/ice during inclement weather to ensure a safe and attractive environment for customers and employees.

2.Vehicle Placement: Assist in the proper placement and arrangement of vehicles on the lot, ensuring efficient use of space and easy access for customers and dealership staff.

3.Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicles for display and test drives by ensuring they are clean, fueled, and parked in designated areas, ready for presentation to customers.

4.Vehicle Movement: Safely and efficiently move vehicles within the dealership premises as needed, including parking, relocating, and retrieving vehicles for sales, service, and other departments.

5.Inventory Management: Assist in conducting regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and proper recording of vehicle information, including VIN numbers, mileage, and condition reports.

6.Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers, including directing them to specific vehicles of interest and answering basic inquiries about vehicle availability and features.

7.Assistance to Sales and Service Departments: Support sales and service personnel by transporting customers and vehicles as needed, assisting with vehicle deliveries, and performing other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

• Physical stamina to perform duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
