How you will create an impact

The General Insurance TPA Financial Services Team, based in Parsippany, NJ, work directly with Third Party Administrators (TPA) on claim data reporting and financial reimbursements. The team is searching for a candidate who has a Finance/Accounting background. Successful candidates for this role are self-starters with a balance of quantitative and qualitative skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Primary contact responsible for the claims data reporting for several of our TPA partners.
  • Analyze claims data errors and work with the TPA to fix with the next submission.
  • Compare inception to date loss data for your TPA's to AIG's internal systems to work with our TPA partners to correct any out of balances.
  • Coordinate the transfer of clients between TPA's when a file transfer has been requested.
  • Complete projects as requested by management.
  • Primary point of contract within AIG for all data questions on your TPA's.
  • Create and/or update PowerPoint presentations and process documentation.
  • Work with offshore teams in India.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance or General Accounting.
  • Ability to communicate effective outside the organization.
  • Self-starter, quick learner, and flexible team player.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage ongoing responsibilities.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a high level of curiosity.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under the pressure of tight deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Technical skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to adapt to organizational changes.
