Loss Prevention Video Operator

Love monitoring activities on video and getting paid for it?! Use your closed-circuit television monitoring experience to work with Shoe Carnival's Loss Prevention team.

The Loss Prevention Video Operator is located at the Shoe Carnival Corporate Office and works closely with other internal departments to provide a video log of events and activities occurring in stores and office facilities. They are responsible for maintaining confidential documentation, preparing reports, and conducting audits on events or activities using case management software.

• Monitors video feeds from security cameras to detect suspicious activity.

• Operates closed circuit television (CCTV) equipment to monitor public areas and private premises.

• Downloads footage from security cameras to assist with customer and employee accidents and other incidents.

• Works with local law enforcement in providing video footage as needed.

• Uses case management software to conduct Loss Prevention audits.

• Responds to EOT/SOS emergency emails from stores.

• Assists in the coordination of additional outside security coverage for emergency situations.

• Assists Human Resource Department with issuing new employee badges as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Working knowledge of CCTV systems and recording with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience preferred.

• Ability to work with multiple CCTV systems.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and convey a positive professional image.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team and build collaborative relationships.
