As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will ensure the security of our property and guests at all times. Your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to, patrolling all areas of property, assisting guests/employees during emergency situations and completing incident reports. To ensure we are providing the best services to our guests, as a Loss Prevention Officer, your duties will entail successfully managing stressful situations while delivering consistently high quality service.

Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. In addition some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements to be considered for this position. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Salary Information: The salary range listed above includes locality pay of 15.37%. The current starting hourly rate for this position is $15.63. To view the video, please Click Here. Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) provide security and protection of air travelers, airports and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner. This includes: * Operating various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers, and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft. * Performing searches and screening, which may include physical interaction with passengers (e.g., pat-downs, search of property, etc.), conducting bag searches and lifting/carrying bags, bins, and property weighing up to 50lbs. * Controlling terminal entry and exit points. * Interacting with the public, giving directions and responding to inquiries. * Maintaining focus and awareness while working in a stressful environment which includes noise from alarms, machinery and people, crowd distractions, time pressure, and disruptive and angry passengers, in order to preserve the professional ability to identify and locate potentially life threatening or mass destruction devices, and to make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations. * Engaging in continuous development of critical thinking skills, necessary to mitigate actual and potential security threats, by identifying, evaluating, and applying appropriate situational options and approaches. This may include application of risk-based security screening protocols that vary based on program requirements. * Retaining and implementing knowledge of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, demonstrating responsible and dependable behavior, and is open to change and adapts to new information or unexpected obstacles. Travel Required Occasional travel - A minimum of two (2) weeks of travel in a full-time duty status will be required to complete TSA's New Hire training.
