Loss Prevention Officer Tampa RSC (WEEKEND SHIFT: THUR - SUN)

In the role of Loss Prevention Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to:
Safety of employees and guests
Safeguard and maintain confidential information
Ensure adherence to corporate security policies via multi-screen CCTV system, and computer-based monitoring
Maintain compliance with Facilities Management Best Practices, RSC policies and procedures
Conduct safety orientations
Maintain accurate records and files for safety and accident information
Answer phones; greet visitors, vendors, contractors and team members
Perform daily and monthly safety inspections as required
Assist Facility Manager on special projects
Create activity logs and incident reports; enter requests for facility and security control issues
Work with security provider on maintenance issues
Coordinate spill situations; accident prevention and root-cause analysis as necessary on accidents/incidents
First responder for all safety incidents and medical emergencies which may require administration of first aid/CPR
Resolve situations calmly, tactfully and with common sense
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
2-5 years loss prevention or corporate security experience in a distribution or retail environment preferred
Military/law enforcement experience is a plus
,Associates Degree preferred
Ability to analyze situations quickly and objectively, and to determine proper course of action to be taken
Ability to follow proper guidelines, best practices and protocol. Complete and maintain required reports
CPR/AED/FIRST AID certification
Strong computer skills, (Windows, MS office Suite, CCTV)
Excellent Customer Service, verbal and written communication skills (phones and computer based programs are main source of communication)
Ability to work flexible shifts (see hours listed above)
Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
