The Loss Prevention Manager Fulfillment Centers (FC) leads the effort to efficiently and effectively provide security services and asset (lives, buildings, equipment, data, analysis & intellectual property) protection within the assigned location. The Loss Prevention Manager is a key member of the operations organization, working with the FC Operational team as well as cross functional teams throughout the organization. The position is site based.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner

  • Lead investigations of internal and external theft and fraud and conduct interviews when appropriate

  • Effectively address security incidents including potential and actual work place violence incidents per policy as well as conduct testing of the incident response plans

  • Ensure that team members understand, align performance and actions with and can clearly articulate the vision and values of the organization and their department

  • Ensure Internal Controls per Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements related to area are fulfilled

  • Serve as department's liaison and security subject matter expert

  • Develop business cases which receive the required approval, financial and technical resources, and the support of appropriate management to enact desired changes

  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiency

  • Recruit, hire, develop and retain candidates who raise the performance bar of the security services organization when needed

The Engineering Manager is responsible for the design, planning, scope, and execution of the plant's capital projects and also includes control of the department's variable and fixed budgets. This role is also responsible for the preventative maintenance, safe operation, repairs, and environmental compliance of the plant's equipment and environmental systems. Directly accountable for the direction and management of the maintenance department and all its resources and responsibilities, is also responsible for sound communication between the engineering/maintenance departments and all internal customers to ensure that strong support system exists. This position ensures all regulatory requirements concerning environmental programs are in compliance as well as ensuring that all engineering/maintenance operations/projects are in compliance with local, state, and governmental agencies. Requirements * Directly manages and is responsible for all activities related to the plant engineering and maintenance function, including, but not limited to: equipment and facilities maintenance, utilities management, capital projects, machine development and installation, and the purchasing and inventorying of equipment and supplies necessary to accomplish all functions. * Establishes priorities on all engineering projects. Assures projects are designed as per original concept and sees that the appropriation request is prepared and approved prior to the startup and installation of the projects. * Administers the planning, subsequent approvals and implementation of all projects through startup, including training of all appropriate people. * Prepare Capital Appropriations Requests (CARs). * Facilitate Capital Budget Process and the implementation of that process. * Planning, designing, estimating, budgeting, construction, and supervision of engineering projects that are under the plant's control. * Responsible for identifying resources for the engineering, maintenance and environmental department. * Insures good communication between Corporate Engineering and the plant concerning engineering and maintenance projects. * Responsible for preparation and execution of capital and repair budgets.Coordinates activities between the engineering, maintenance and environmental departments with the operating departments to ensure maximum performance. * Performs special studies and handles problems assigned by the plant manager. * Manages all contractor and contract labor for all capital projects. Ensure that contractors have received copies of the "Contractor Safety Manual" and that they understand and comply with all safety, regulatory, GMP, and plant rules. * Administers program to assure work order requests are being fulfilled. * Administers maintenance program and follows up to assure production needs are met whenever possible. * Coordinate the plant's technical resources that include process, electrical and mechanical engineering. * Ensure adherence to Kraft's engineering and maintenance procedures and specifications. * Responsible for the maintenance of equipment, building, property, and utilities. * Responsible for employee orientation, training, disciplines, promotions, safety and job performance for the maintenance/engineering department. * Directs the maintenance program to provide better support through W/O effectiveness and preventive maintenance practices. * Advises and assists plant management staff and supervisors in development of improved equipment operating methods and processes for more efficient operation. * Coordinates the control and implementation of the maintenance CMMS system. * Coordinates all maintenance related inspections- state, federal, insurance. * Assists with the plant's annual OB development. * Responsible for the development of all department personnel. * Ensure proper inventory control of repair parts, stand-by and idle equipment. * Maintains close working relationships with local environmental agencies on the subject of wastewater, solid waste, air discharge and the use of city utilities. * Responsible for maintaining the utilities system to provide necessary heating/cooling, steam, compressed air water, sewer systems, and power. * Responsible for the Stockroom assuring it is properly stocked, secured, and crewed. * Compliance with company and plant policies. * Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. * Provide an active leadership role in sanitation and housekeeping. * Provide leadership in the plant's Safety programs. * Ensure proper operation for the plant's Fire protection system-sprinklers, fire pumps, and emergency notification system. Assures all required Safety inspections are completed. * Other duties as assigned.
