We are staffing a new 6 month document review engagement to take place at our client's corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. We are looking for experienced document review attorneys who are able to begin the project on Wednesday, March 20th and are able to commit to the full duration of the review.

VIEW JOBS 7/5/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-10-03T00:00 Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor degree or commensurate work experience required. * Minimum of three (3) years' experience in commercial underwriting, asset management, portfolio management, credit review or equivalent work experience in a regional bank or large financial services firm required. * Minimum of eight (8) years of commercial lending experience preferred. * Examiner experience with federal bank regulatory agency preferred. * Formal commercial credit training preferred. * RMA Credit Risk Certification ("CRC") preferred. * Bankers Administration Institute's ("BAI") Loan Review Certification preferred. Job Purpose and Scope: Responsible for assessing the quality of loan relationships and the quality of internal routines and controls designed to identify, measure, monitor and control credit risk. Using a combination of proprietary loan review processes, formal credit training, and self-developed lending expertise, the Commercial Credit Review Officer II primarily reviews loans and independently determines the adequacy of credit quality and the strength of underwriting and asset management practices. The Commercial Credit Review Officer II reports directly to a Deputy Director. Essential Job Functions: * Reviews loans to assess credit quality and the accuracy of the assigned risk ratings; recommends appropriate risk ratings based on findings. * Reviews loans to evaluate the strength of underwriting and account management practice. * Assesses business line adherence to credit policy and procedures and regulatory guidelines, laws, and regulations. * Identifies key risk issues and recommends action plans to remediate concerns. * Documents loan level findings and conclusions on asset quality reports. * Discusses loan level concerns with originators and underwriters and other business line personnel. * Ensures asset quality reports and supporting documentation are comprehensive, complete and supportive of findings and conclusions. * Embraces a culture of continuous process improvement and supports the Bank's professional practice and quality control standards. * Follows Bank policy, procedure and guidelines. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Knowledge of loan documentation, credit and financial statement analysis. * Knowledge and understanding of federal banking regulations. * Knowledge of and exposure to basic principles of auditing. * Ability to review and analyze mid to large size loans of little to moderate complexity. * Proficient in the fundamentals of commercial credit organization, underwriting, servicing and monitoring. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word proficiently and acquire other computer skills as needed. * Ability to work effectively both independently and with others. * Ability and desire to learn continuously on-the-job.
