The Finance Consultant is responsible for producing additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and aftermarket programs to new and used vehicle guests. Responsibilities
Provide guests with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended service contracts, including manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals in a timely manner.
Establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with all finance sources and manufacturer.
Verifies insurance and obtains pay-off amounts on trades with open liens.
Process federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transaction.
Checks all paperwork for correct residual, commission, buy rate, title, lien information, taxes, and DMV paperwork before forwarding to the business office.
Follows through with contract discrepancies to ensure payment of loan.
Assists salespersons in collecting down payment and all monies.
Enters individual deals in sold log and ensures deals are recorded promptly and correctly.
Meets monthly sales and guest satisfaction objectives set by management.
Regularly assists phones and assists guests with any routine and non-routine questions and assists in all other areas of the finance department as needed.
Create and maintain excellent relationships with our customers.
Conduct business in a variety of traditional and non-traditional methods, such as email, telephone, in person appointments.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individuals should possess:
Superior communication and customer service skills, especially effective via email and telephone
A minimum of three (3) year sales experience in the automotive finance industry or equivalent, preferred.
Excellent follow-through skills
Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work in a team driven atmosphere.
Must be organized and able to work independently on multiple deals and complete tasks within specified deadlines.
Knowledge of mathematical concepts and their application, vehicle leasing, equity values and depreciation, and the laws that govern retail automotive sales.
Must have a valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable and safe driving record.
