RSU5 seeks to immediately hire a long-term substitute teacher for the remainder of the school year at Freeport High School. This assignment is for Academic Support, which provides students with instruction and support relative to executive functioning skills (planning, organization, task initiation, time management, perseverance). Responsibilities of the position include helping students with assignment in all subject areas and providing guidance and strategies to support their academic growth - the class structure consists of helping students plan, start tasks, manage time well, stay organized, complete assignments, focus in class, study, and persevere through challenges.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid CHRC from Maine Dept. of Education.

Position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
