Position: Special Education Teacher- ESY (Half-Days)
Qualifications: Candidates must meet criteria for employment within a CT public school as a Special Education Teacher and hold a CT certification in special education
Responsibilities:
Monitor student progress in accordance with IEP.
Complete progress reports at the conclusion of ESY.
Plan and implement specially designed instruction for students in accordance with their IEPs.
Collaborate with related service providers and paraprofessionals
Provide direct instruction/support for students requiring special education.
Supervise one/multiple paraprofessional.
Terms of Employment: Position will begin on July 1, 2024 through July 25, 2024 Monday-Thursday 8:45-12:15 Salary and benefits in accordance with Agreement Between The Board of Education And The Avon Education Association.
