Essex Westford School District (EWSD) currently seeking a skilled and passionate Long-term Substitute School Nurse to join our team and cover a leave of absence at Essex Middle School (EMS) for the month of June, followed by an exciting return after the summer to continue your adventure with us through October. Pay: $280 per day

EWSD is committed to considering out-of-state candidates who are eligible to hold a Vermont educator license but do not yet hold a license in this state.

Candidates with the following additional qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• Hold a valid license as a Professional Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Vermont.

• Hold (or be eligible to hold) a valid Vermont Educator's License with a 3-65 school nurse endorsement.

• Experience with supporting students across broad aspects of the school's system of support.

• Experience working with high school students preferred.

• Knowledge of general nursing and school nursing concepts and skills

• Effectively works with others, including those with opinions or beliefs different from their own.
