POSITION: Long-Term Substitute English as a Second Language Teacher
2024-2025 School Year

Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a full-year Long-Term Substitute English as Second Language Teacher to begin with the 2024-2025 school year, split between Floral Street School and the Major Howard W. Beal School. This position pays $280 per diem.

We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom.

Candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred:

• Teaching license in English as a Second Language, Grades K-8, through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

• Works flexibly in a changing school environment

• Understands the needs and behaviors of elementary school students

• Demonstrates the values of Shrewsbury Public Schools

• Bilingual is a plus!
