Long-Term Care Pharmacist | Pharmacist (Full-Time, LA Alhambra)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Long-Term Care Pharmacist to join our team at our LA Alhambra store. This full-time position (32 hours per week) is designed for a professional ready to advance into a pharmacy management role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, developing and implementing protocols and policies for medication storage, distribution, and management, and providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all pharmacy operations, including inventory management and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Provide high-quality care and service to our patients, ensuring the accurate delivery of pharmaceutical care.
• Lead and mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering a collaborative and patient-focused work environment.
• Develop and implement protocols and policies for medication storage and distribution.
• Conduct drug utilization reviews to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
• Provide patient education on medication use and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• PharmD or equivalent degree.
• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of California.
• Recent graduates are welcome; however, we seek individuals with a vision for growth.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medication management principles, legal and ethical aspects of pharmacy practice, and computerized pharmacy software systems.
