Lola’s Eatery in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks an experienced part-time Line Cook.

Lola’s Eatery is an intimate restaurant serving gourmet comfort food. The dishes are made with high-quality ingredients sourced from our Chef's garden and local farmers.

Being a Line Cook at Lola's requires technical skills, personal qualities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Position:

• Line Cook

Compensation:

• Starting at $17 hourly

Schedule requirements:

• 25-35 hours per week
• Off on Mondays and Tuesdays

Language requirements:

• English
• Spanish helpful

Experience requirements:

• 1-2 years of BOH culinary experience in a similar role in a casual restaurant is preferable
• Food Safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• A strong foundation in cooking techniques and various cooking methods, including grilling, sautéing, and frying
• Knife handling skills
• Can reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Can work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 9 hours)
